  • How can I purchase a subscription plan?

    Making a purchase in our online store is easy:
    1. In the store, select a subscription plan that suits your needs and click Buy or Log in.
    2. On the order confirmation page, specify the number of subscription plans you wish to purchase* and click Check out.
    3. You will be directed to the 2Checkout (formerly Avangate) website, where you can pay for your purchase. If you would like to automatically renew your subscription in the future, select the appropriate option.
    4. After you have completed the payment procedure, a receipt from 2Checkout (formerly Avangate) will be sent to your e-mail address (as specified in the billing information).
    5. FineReader Online will send you an e-mail message to the address associated with your ABBYY account with details of your subscription: your serial number, a link to download the desktop version of ABBYY FineReader, and the number of page credits available to you on FineReader Online and in the ABBYY FineReader mobile app.

    *All subscription plans that you purchase will be added to your account under which you are logged in when making the payment.
  • What payment methods are available?

    Your payment will be processed by 2Checkout (formerly Avangate), which supports the following payment methods*:
    • Credit/debit card (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Eurocard, Diners Club, American Express, JCB, PostePay, Discover (Novus) and Carte Bleue)
    • PayPal
    • Direct Debit

    *Some of these payment methods may not be available in your country.
  • How much does FineReader Online cost?

  • My card wasn’t accepted. Why?

    There are several possible explanations for this:
    • Not all payment cards can be used to make payments over the Internet. To find out if your card is eligible for such payments, please contact the bank that issued your card.
    • You have provided an incorrect card number, cardholder name or last name, CVC code, or other credential.
    • There is not enough money in your card account.
  • Which exchange rate is used if the currency of my account differs from the currency required by FineReader Online?

    You will be able to select a currency on the checkout page by clicking the arrow next to SUBTOTAL.
    If your currency is not on the list, any currency conversions will be made by your bank or card issuer. FineReader Online does not convert currencies.
  • I have a bonus code. How do I use it?

    Bonus codes are distributed as part of promotion campaigns and add a certain number of page credits to your FineReader Online account when activated. These page credits can be used when accessing the FineReader Online from a browser or from the ABBYY FineReader mobile app.
  • Can I use FineReader Online for free?

    Yes. Once you register and confirm your e-mail address, you will be given 10 welcoming page credits. Additionally, each month, we will credit up to 5 pages to your account free of charge. These page credits can be used when accessing the FineReader Online from a browser or from the ABBYY FineReader mobile app.
